Today is Monday, I forgot what we did on Friday. I know I spent Thursday night writing out Baby announcements and Thank You cards. I had dinner at Kathie and Chuck's on Friday. That's what we did.
Saturday Daddy only had to work from 12:30-5:30. So he had the night off. We all went to see Debbie and her friend Carol's new place out in Dearborn. You were such a good baby girl. You were just a little fussy, but when Daddy held you, you became quiet. It was really cute.
Sunday my Uncle Paul and Aunt Jan and your second cousins Paul, Julie and Doug came to visit. They brought you some flowers and a vase. I am going to take a picture of them now that I think about it.
Today, Daddy changed the living room around because I put up the Christmas tree last night. It was so crowded in here. I also wrapped Christmas presents.
Oh yea, you smiled at me twice yesterday. You were awake and I was so touched! You melted my heart. The only time we see you smile is when your belly is full and you're falling asleep. What a little sweetie you are!
We went to Kathie's tonight and cut out snowflakes for decorations. It was fun. We even put glitter on them. I think our apartment looks really sweet. I'm glad Daddy changed the living room around. It needed a change.
You are asleep right now. But I'm tired so, I will put you in your Bassinet and go to sleep myself. You look so cozy on the couch, I hate to move you, but I wouldn't want you to fall off the couch. I know you don't roll over yet, but I won't take any chances.
We have a busy day tomorrow. You have your First Doctor's appointment. I'm anxious to see how much you have grown and also how much you weigh.
Nitey-nite Sweethearts!
Well, It's 6:00 a.m. Tuesday December 11, 1984.
You are 1 month old today. I wanted to write in here how you woke us up. You screamed so loud! Both Daddy and I jumped out of bed. When you and I went to bed you were sleeping on my chest, and when Daddy came home he wanted to put you in the Bassinet, but I was too sleepy. I don't even remember him comming to bed. Well I woke up and put you in your Bassinet and when you screamed, Daddy thought I squished you. But you were just hungry and you were all upset because you were on the side of the Bassinet and you probably could not scoot. As soon as I picked you up and changed your diaper, I felt something wet on my leg and foot, and it was my breast milk leaking. Feeding time! I'm glad you were just screaming because you could not scoot and not something serious!..
You are one month old today, I took you to the Doctor's for your first appointment. You are 21 3/4 inches long and 7 lbs 10 ozs. I knew you were growing. What a little sweetie you are!

I cleaned out and re-arranged the kitchen cupboards and the linen closet today. It really needed to be re-organized.
Monday night we went to Livonia Mall with our friends David and Ellen. We had a lot of fun. Well today is already Saturday. We had a pretty busy week on Wednesday, we went to Grandma Wilson's for dinner. Uncle Ray, Aunt Marsha and Stephanie cme up from Texas. It was really nice seeing them again. We drove out West during the summer, and we stayed with them for a few days. Last night we went to Westland Mall, and I was kinda mad, because when I went to buy Daddy a Christmas prestne, I noticed I forgot the money at home. So, we had to drive back home. It was raining like crazy.
You got hungry, so I fed you in the dressing room at J.C. Penny's. then you got hungry again so I fed you in the Hudson't sitting in the furniture department. It is so close to Christmast that the Mall was crazy.
